Herro all! It’s been a while since we have had an installment of Freebie Friday. We apologize for that. With Breana moving and Ashley working so much, it’s been hard to find the time to keep up with anything else. But we will try and get the installments back for you all to be excited about.
Now for the free goods….
Three awesome books found secondhand for anyone to get crafty and creative with.
The first book is a book of Knots: Useful & Ornamental by George Russell Shaw. This book gives you detailed instructions on how to tie your basic knots (you know, the kind you learned in girl scouts) all the way up to tying incredibly decorative ones to make artistic pieces. It includes basic illustrations and simple step by steps on the how to’s of knots.
The second book is Decorative Stamping: Projects for Your Home by Sasha Dorey. This book offers a close look on stamping on all types of surfaces from fabric, wood, walls, etc. Plus it includes stationary ideas for gifts, kids, and lots of chapters on home stamp decorating.
And the third book is Needlepoint on Plastic Canvas by Elisabeth Brenner de Nitto. This book is jam packed with 34 projects including frames, boxes, book covers, pincushions, baskets, and other crafty ideas. It explains the benefits of plastic canvas focusing on how your projects will not lose it’s shape, needs no blocking, and can be cut into any shape, among other fantastic benefits. Learn the basics of needlepoint and create some amazing things with this book.
